An active winter in the Paznaun

The Galtür ski area offers ideal conditions for families and winter sports enthusiasts. It is one of the most snow-reliable resorts in the Alps, with varied pistes and Silvapark, whose sectors cater to skiers, snowboarders, Nordic sports fans and children.

A ski holiday in the Paznaun is affordable: ski-pass prices for the Galtür cable cars include the ski bus throughout the Paznaun–Ischgl winter sports region. The Galtür ski school runs courses and mountain tours for children, beginners and anyone keen to explore.

Winter activities are many: cross-country skiing, ski touring, ice skating and curling. Evenings and poor weather are well covered too – night skiing, indoor climbing, tennis and squash, swimming and of course après-ski.

Mountain summer in Galtür

Spend your holiday in the climatic spa resort of Galtür and discover the high Alps in all their variety. Numerous via ferratas and bouldering spots shape the landscape, and relaxed hikers will find plenty to enjoy as well.

Early risers are rewarded when they set off for the summits at daybreak: while mist still lies in the valley, the sun is already on the peaks – a sight that has delighted many hikers.

At huts and alpine pastures you can taste regional delicacies and Tyrolean specialities. Galtür has also become a paradise for climbers and boulderers: the Silvapark bouldering area is regarded as one of the best in the world, with 160 boulders of every grade.

Away from the summits, relax with a swim or try canyoning and rafting. Motorcyclists enjoy the Silvretta High Alpine Road, and the cable cars take you comfortably to your hiking or climbing starting point.
